Job description

  • Drive and execute area product assortments according to consumer needs for your relevant categories whilst achieving seasonal KPI's.
  • Manage and oversee the Seasonal and SMU apparel forecasting process based on financial targets in place.
  • Define prices at an article level ensuring market and consumer relevance.
  • Constant and clear communication with local and global teams showcasing consumer and retail knowledge of the market.
  • Be an expert in your respective category delivering market insights, trends, pricing, and consumer needs to the global team at key milestones in the season to influence the seasonal ranges.
  • Lead and develop the Apparel Junior Merchandiser.
  • Liaising daily cross functionally with the wider Merchandising team, Retail, Sales and Marketing to execute account and brand plans.
  • Follow and track the Global critical path process to ensure key deadlines in the season are met.
    • Guide and support in account previews & pre line meetings.
    • Support Wholesale business planning working cross functionally with other departments.
    • Manage in season account opportunities via speed service models.
    • Build seasonal account specific sell in documents using the latest digital tools and ensure these are kept up to date throughout the season.

Profile

  • Proven experience in product management or merchandising (retail or wholesale).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease.
  • Demonstrate a passion and desire to work as one successful team.
  • Strong business orientation, analytical aptitude, and retail maths knowledge
  • Strong collaboration skills required to work cross functionally with product teams and sales.
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Have an understanding and an interest in the sportswear and fashion retail market.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with short timelines and changing priorities.
  • Flexible, solution and detail-oriented, a skilled communicator and a relationship builder
