Job Requirements

We are looking for an individual who is able to fluidly perform both Technical Design and Product Development needs as we continue to rapidly grow the Apparel Team.

Technical Design Requirements

  • Facilitate and lead fit sessions with live models to evaluate physical fit, body size, and garment appearance
  • Analyze fit session results and identify product and fit enhancements, including pattern fit corrections and construction details
  • Work directly with the design team on updates and changes
  • Communicate timely and effectively to ensure calendar adherence
  • Responsible for measuring samples, distributing garments, collecting feedback, and recommending fit and construction changes prior to production
  • Create and manage technical packages to assure documentation is current and production ready, including detailed component BOMs and color/graphic specifications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from technical design stages through development stages, and into start of production
  • Review, document and communicate changes, test results and requirements of samples to suppliers

Reports to: Apparel Director and Tech Design Lead

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience in a Technical Design role
  • Pattern-making knowledge is a must
  • Must be highly creative, posses strong initiative, and be detail-oriented
  • Has strong communication skills and be able to provide clear direction and concise feedback when reviewing work
  • Ability to execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Experience in CLO 3D is a major plus
  • Be able to adopt knowledge of the fitness industry and nutrition
Computer Skills

To perform the job successfully, the individual hired should have knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient on Mac platform
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and exceptional ability with Adobe Illustrator is a must
  • Experience in CLO 3D is a major plus
