Technical Designer

The Technical Designer will support the seasonal design and merchandising process by contributing technical designs for in-category styles to ensure on-budget and  on-time delivery of garments.

Key Accountabilities:

• Measure and prepare samples before all fit sessions and record comments to ensure final fit, quality and construction meet all standards
• Work closely with Sourcing and Design to execute the Time and Action calendar and manage the sample approval process
• Communicate with overseas factories and vendors to ensure all styles, fits, construction and specs meet the standards for costing and appropriateness for brand
• Track fit and pre-production samples
• Partner with Production and Quality Assurance teams to carry out quality assurance protocols to identify issues and suggest solutions
• Special projects as assigned
