Founded in 1975, the company designs, markets, produces and sells its brands through multiple market segments. The company's brands include the nationally-recognized Vince Camuto, 1. State, CeCe, and Chaus. BCI launched its first DTC brand, Court & Rowe, in Fall 2019. Our extensive global sourcing and development capabilities have made us a speed-to-market execution leader.


Unique opportunity for an experienced technical designer to work in a creative environment and grow with the design team.


  • Create all development and fit sample tech packs.
  • Measure original samples, photograph and write accurate construction following our standard
  • Communicate and follow up with factories to ensure on-time showroom samples.
  • Create charts to manage all priority samples.
  • Attend production fittings, take notes and lead when head designer is not available.
  • Work and communicate with the in-house sample room to make last minute samples or changes.
  • Enter garment information into Exenta.


  • At least 3 years of experience as a Design Tech at a women’s fashion company
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, measuring, workmanship and function
  • Basic pattern making knowledge. (Must be able to look at a pattern and call out corrections.)
  • Fluent in Photoshop, excel, word. Knowledge in Exenta is a plus!
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Independent thinker and a good problem solver.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Enthusiastic and team-oriented.
  • Willing to help the team even if the task is not part of your daily responsibility.
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Must be punctual and open to working extra hours during peak season.
