Technical Designer - Luxury Womenswear

Our client, a high end womenswear brand, is looking for a Technical Designer to join their team in New York!

**This role will require travel to India 4 times per year for 2 weeks at a time.

**Remote position, must be based in NYC area

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate fittings and provide approvals
• Approve bulk materials
• Oversee quality control
• Track and manage samples
• Develop and monitor production schedule
• Update and finalize tech packs
• Communicate with factories on production and quality issues
• Partner closely with design

Requirements:

• 4-7+ years of technical design experience
• Must be coming from high end/contemporary womenswear
• Strong knowledge of patternmaking
• Time Management skills
• Experience in fittings, evaluating samples, and creating tech packs
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
