Position Overview:
As a Technical Designer at Bare Home, you will play a pivotal role in the creation of new bedding designs and the development of cutting-edge systems for product development. You will collaborate closely with our R&D team to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about textiles and has a strong background in technical design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the R&D team to conceptualize and create innovative bedding designs that meet market trends and customer demands.
- Develop technical specifications, sketches, and CAD drawings to communicate design concepts and product requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the successful execution of product designs.
- Research and evaluate new materials, techniques, and technologies to enhance product quality and performance.
- Participate in product testing and quality control processes to ensure that products meet established standards.
- Assist in the development and improvement of systems and processes related to product development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in textile design and product development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a similar discipline).
- Three to five years of experience in technical design, preferably within the textile or bedding industry.
- Strong proficiency in design software and CAD tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD).
- Knowledge of textiles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
- A passion for staying updated on industry trends and innovations.
