Kids Clothing E-Commerce Brand Hiring Full Time Technical Fashion Designer Assistant. Must have 4-5 years of experience working with overseas factories on designs and production. Job Responsibilities are as follows:

Communicate with overseas factories regarding all designs for the store
Work with design team on new collections as well as receive and evaluate product offers from factories
work with pattern maker in evaluating samples and creating feedback communication flow with factory
Source and design products consistent with the creative direction established by team
make decisions about best way to ship merchandise once orders are complete
Review samples and provide feedback to the factories
Create Collection Boards for each collection and ensure timely delivery for marketing calendar
Manage sourcing the products from existing vendors and new vendors
Key in new purchase orders
Negotiate prices and delivery times with vendors
Look for new vendors
Manage vendors/factories, look out for problems and immediately find solutions. Track their efficiency
Work with customer service and other team members in resolving shipping delays or problematic situations
Work with marketing department and other team members in communication status of shipping
Communicate with overseas vendors in the evenings to ensure proper flow and avoid delays in sourcing
Coordinate with photography department regarding photos of sourced products

Business Hours Are 9 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday. Working remotely is not an option.
