Fluid Motion, LLC - Manufacturer of Cutwater Boats and Ranger Tugs - is looking to expand its operations. We have multiple openings in our Arlington facility.

Industrial seamstress
Upholstery assembler

Industrial Seamstress Responsibilities:

Operates sewing machine
Draw patterns
Cutting and sewing covers for upholstered boat cushions and canvas Bimini tops.
Cuts new material
Operates a walking foot sewing machine
Developing specific plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish proper order shipment dates.
Check the completion of work and quality. Identify and communicate possible quality discrepancies to other employees.
Ensure preventative maintenance of equipment and report any damage or broken equipment immediately.
Keep track of supplies and complete order sheets to place supply orders.

Assembler

Assemble upholstered components
Develop specific plans with employees to prioritize, organize, and accomplish proper order of shipment dates.
Able to teach proper assembly methods to other employees in order to develop their skills.
Check the completion of work and quality. Identify and communicate possible quality discrepancies to other employees.
Ensure preventative maintenance of equipment and report any damage or broken equipment immediately.
Partner with manager to create & review employee evaluations of work performance.
Keep track of supplies and complete order sheets to place supply orders.
Set example for coworkers by maintaining a positive, productive, and professional attitude.

Pay: $18-$20/+DOE

Hours: Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm
