The Vendor Digital Operations Analyst will coordinate and execute across merchandising and digital teams to get items live on kohls.com. This position will be responsible for ensuring work is completed efficiently, based on deadlines as entered by Buying Team, while adhering to business processes, standards and priorities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT & ANALYSIS

  • Conducts weekly business analysis and recommendations to the buying office and the vendor
  • Recommends strategic marketing opportunities to maximize vendor opportunities
  • Conducts financial business analysis and produces business impacting recommendation
  • Manages Lifecycle of product, keeping digital experience relevant

VENDER TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Ensures all Merchandising initiatives are prioritized for cross functional teams
  • Provides direction to project teams to ensure workflow is aligned with business needs and target audiences
  • Establishes key milestones for projects and executes to project timelines
  • Partners with vendor to create Digital merchandising strategies(in conjunction with DVM, DM + Merchants)
  • Partners with Vendor to help increase online sales velocity


ITEM SET - UP

  • Responsible for Item Set-Up for all cross-categories
  • Partners and executes with online merchandising team (DM, IP, K-link) to make visible on-line
  • Provide A+ best in class product content
  • Provides item attribution assistance including categorization/taxonomy, customer facing attributes
  • Works with vendor to obtain omni photo style guide best in class imagery and content

PRODUCT PAGE CREATION & PUBLISHING

  • Develops an expertise on expediting product to the site through enhancing internal and external partnerships
  • Copy Schedules for items that need to be written, leveraging available reporting and troubleshoot outstanding needs for images or copy using K-Link, Censhare and Scene 7
  • Completes work in K-Link to approve copy, write copy, view images and load to the site for verification of images and copy
  • Leverages BrightEdge when building PDPs
  • Meets with SEO team to understand search opportunities

DIRICT SHIP

  • Partner with DS team to ensure that inventory feeds are coming through correctly in DSCO for products to go live
  • Find opportunities for shipping improvements
  • Provide Vendor with inventory forecasts
  • Troubleshoot live-to-site problems

DIGITAL MERCHANDISING

  • Works with vendor on availability and consistency of Syndigo content
  • Reviews vendor content and responses for Ratings & Reviews (Product Champions, Review Syndication via Bazaarvoice, Customer Q&A)

DIGITAL CONVERSION

  • Develops and leads the digital conversion strategy
  • Identifies and action against opportunities identified through industry and competition best practices
  • Optimizes site experience by partnering with the vendor & internal CFTs to enhance: SEO Optimization Video Syndication of review Marketing

REQUIRED

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Business Analysis skills
  • Strategic mind set
  • Possess a strong understanding of Vendor relationships with buying teams.
  • Item Set Up Experience
  • Problem Solving (Identify where there is an issue and suggest solutions)
  • Communication skills (Will be working with Buyers/AB’s/MS, IP, DM, DS)

PREFERRED

  • Previous Digital Experience (min 1 year)
