The Global Nike Stores Athlete Experience (NAX) team exists to bring inspiration and innovation to our Retail Firstline teammates (store leaders and associates) by reimagining education, training, and professional development! The Nike Athlete Experience Global NAX Production Studio team creates training experiences for employees in Nike Stores around the world. We develop curriculums based on business needs and requests from Geo and cross-functional partners.

Global NAX Production Studio Content Developers / Instructional Designers are part of a fast-paced team that develops training content to help stores continuously grow the cultural, service, operational and product knowledge necessary to get results across Nike Direct! The Video Sr. Manager role will round out the team of content creators, bringing new ideas to our vast audience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We seek a Sr. Manager of Video Content that will develop engaging multimedia learning content to help store teams continuously grow the cultural, service, operational and product knowledge necessary to get results across Nike Retail. You will bring retail and digital experiences to listen and connect with our Firstline teams. This individual will use insights to develop a modern, digitally-led approach to learning and personal development.

In this role, you will:
  • You will help develop the content strategy, create video training content, design activities and resources, and work as a thought partner with the extended training team.

  • Provide guidance and direction on the most effective ways to develop instructional content in the areas of video production, media development, and media delivery

  • Partner with Instructional Designers to script, produce, direct and coordinate production

  • Use your knowledge of HOW to create instructional videos to bring new ideas to WHAT we create

  • Acquire third party and internal footage and licensing requests, including music

  • Assist with tracking production timelines to ensure all deliverables stay on track using production management tools (i.e. Smartsheet, AirTable)

  • Provide quality check of final exports across multiple channels

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will support a variety of training programs, including: onboarding, product knowledge, serving consumers, and store operations and holistic development.

This role will coordinate, lead, and participate in meetings to gather the right content and translate information into creative and impactful video training and development experiences. You will partner with teams to understand training needs and gain feedback and bring them together to build global consistency. You will develop content for a global audience and design learning into personal development activities to drive knowledge and skill retention.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience working in a retail store / service environment

  • 3-5 years of professional work experience producing instructional video content

  • Demonstrated video project management skills including an ability to traffic and monitor numerous simultaneous workflows

  • Experience with Content Management and Learning Management Systems (CMS, LMS)

  • Strong written and verbal communicator; experience with international communications a plus

  • Ability to address changes or issues to project schedules, providing teams with guidance

  • on impact and risk to schedule and budgets

  • Attention-to-detail, multitasking ability, and desire to excel in a fast-pace environment

  • Proficiency with Keynote and Microsoft Office products

  • Highly collaborative, globally-minded with an extremely high level of customer focus and cultural sensitivity

  • Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments

  • A passion for Nike - our product, our brand, and our mission - and most importantly, for our Athletes & our Consumers

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; or combination of relevant education, experience and training

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Film/Video Production, Cinematography, Education, Business, Adult learning, Instructional Design, English/Writing or a related field
