Visual Merchandiser
Arteriors is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to join our Visual Merchandising team. The ideal candidate has experience in designing, planning, identifying any what-ifs or pitfalls and executing the visual merchandising of product.

Duties in Office
+ Assist in translation of seasonal print campaigns into the Dallas flagship location
+ Assist in planning and product assortment to meet various needs of showroom based on space limitations and regional sales needs
+ Run Inter-Company Transfers - order entry in proprietary company ordering system
+ Order tracking / logistics coordination with Ops, follow thru for additional items when we are on the road
+ Reset Prep
+ Creation of Contractor installation documents/reset direction and merchandising instructions (PowerPoint and AutoCAD, SketchUp, hand sketches)
+ Assembling and distributing Contractor documents / design packet and directives for freelancers/contractors
+ Coordination with Operations/Logistics and Showroom pre-prep for deliveries, dumpsters, go-back lists for Operations
+ Creation and maintenance of CLS, TBD, DISC library working with PD team
+ General Admin Duties:
+ Graphics management, coordination with Visual Director and Marketing Production Manager on VM Seasonal graphics needs
+ Maintain calendar updates with direction from Visual Director and Sr. Visual Merchandiser
+ Assist with other creative needs throughout the year (one-off shop-n-shop concepts, annual sales meeting décor, design and setup, color and material selections, merchandise / graphics mock-ups for review)
National Field Assistance:
+ Assist with showroom product resets in domestic showrooms (Dallas, NY, LA, HP, ATL, LV) resets 2x annually each
+ Approx. travel or out of office installation work 8 – 12 weeks per year
+ Ability to lift 35 lbs, stand for long durations of time, merchandise floors
Ideal Skills You Possess:
+ Knowledge of: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite
+ Knowledge and experience with hand sketching
+ Understanding of space, color and materials
+ Design skills to ideate a lay out a room – in planning design phase
+ Understanding and ability to install or floor merchandise / execute the design idea and install it
+ A sense of craft and home improvement, able to use tools and understanding or experience of installation techniques (building, painting, light construction tools and improvement)
+ Youhave a sense of humor and enjoy mixing fun with work
+ You possess a sense of self determination and initiative
+ You feel comfortable working and designing independently AND also creatively collaborating and contributing to group design development
+ You are comfortable working cross-departmentally
+ You are comfortable providing in-field direction to freelancers
+ You are willing to travel for 1-3 weeks at a time with 1-4 fellow team mates
