We are a fast growing luxury home furnishings company seeking a Retail Merchandiser for our SF Bay Area locations. Anthem welcomes all to draw inspiration from our unique selection of home décor.

We seek customer oriented professionals who want to take on new responsibilities. We look for individuals with excellent customer service skills and with experience with luxury brands. Prior experience as a merchandising associate with a luxury brand.

Anthem has retail locations in San Francisco, Burlingame, Menlo Park, Marin, and Healdsburg. Our stores feature high end home furnishings and accessories, tabletop, bed and bath décor, and gift items. We have been steadily growing and expanding since opening our first San Francisco store in 2008.

Job Summary: The Retail Merchandiser will be responsible for managing the visual presentation of merchandise in the store, ensuring that the store’s appearance is in line with the company’s luxury brand image and standards. This role will work closely with Company and Store management to develop and execute merchandising strategies that drive sales and customer engagement.

This position will mainly be through the upcoming season and New Year timeframe but could have the opportunity to be longer term. We pride ourselves on providing longer term growth opportunities for our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement merchandising strategies that maximize sales, margin, and inventory turnover
Collaborate with the buyer to ensure that the product assortment is visually appealing and meets customer demand
Create visually compelling displays that showcase the store’s merchandise and enhance the shopping experience
Ensure that all visual elements are maintained to the highest standard, including signage, lighting, and fixtures
Conduct regular store visits to assess merchandising standards and provide feedback to store teams

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in retail merchandising, preferably in a luxury home interiors environment
Strong visual merchandising skills with an eye for design and detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
