Do you have an eye for fashion? We are currently looking for a Visual Merchandiser to join our team and assist in arranging and maintaining an attractive visual presentation at ourMANGOSoho store (561 Broadway, New York, NY 10012).

AtMANGO, we strive to share the best of the Mediterranean essence that we have cultivated for over 35 years. Our pieces showcase a timeless style while keeping in mind fashion aesthetics and trends.

You will be responsible for displaying new incoming pieces as we are receiving hundreds of new products every week. This individual will ensure that store is set up in an attractive manner in accordance with MANGOs standards in order to maximize sales.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years in retail visual merchandising or display

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge of displaying product in a way that creates a clear story of the brand and highlights its seasonal trends.
Superior organizational skills to handle many pressing priorities with ease in a fast-paced environment.
Perform store changes in a quick and orderly manner while abiding to MANGOS guideline expectations.
Be aware of the customer profile, the product potential and the commercial strategies of competitors.
Communicate with the team about new products, merchandising changes and make suggestions regarding out-of-stock garments.
Collaborate with and support the visual management team on specific store duties.
Ensure the quality of the garments through maintaining and steaming merchandise as needed.

Qualifications and Competencies:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including early mornings, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time, push, pull or move objects of at least 25 pounds
