This is a dual role supporting Visual Merchandising and Business Planning. The VM portion of the role is primarily focused on supporting all Visual Merchandising activities related to PandoraxDisney Parks locations. A successful candidate will provide Visual Merchandising guidance for each of the 40 unique locations and create directive guides for store teams to execute. This candidate must balance the Disney look along with ensuring Pandora brand standards are upheld.

The Business Planner’s primary purpose will be inventory and assortment focused. Creating quarterly assortments for the 40 unique locations and forecasting demand needs to keep the business in proper stock and cover the visual needs created by the directives. Ongoing analysis of the assortments and total inventory will be necessary to keep the store in stock. Partnership with the local Owned and Operated locations will also be part of the responsibility. Understanding those locations business trends and suggesting assortment additions to continue the growth cycle.

Key Accountabilities:

Visual Merchandising:

  • Creates all VM guidelines for campaigns and promotions
  • Creates all VM guidelines to ensure compliance to our brand standards and way of visual merchandising
  • Creates merchandising plans for in-store
  • Creates tray planograms ensuring our stores have clear direction on jewelry try set up
  • Creates fixture planograms
  • Planning of POSM assets and works with the team for proofing and approvals
  • Supports the creation of floor plans for new and existing Disney locations
  • Maintains and organizes VM files for Disney account
  • Works cross functionally with Sales, Merchandising, and Retail Operations to ensure our corporate objectives are being met
  • Works with key account leads at Disney (internally and externally)
  • Creates inspirational and informative documents and presentations as needed
  • Training in store staff on Visual Merchandising
  • Supports new store openings
  • Travels to Disney Parks locations monthly

Business Planner:

Owner of Life Cycle Management for Disney Collaborations

  • Administration of style assortment In store & exits; Disney Parks, Cruise Lines and Shop Disney (online)
  • Business Performance and style analysis across all channels
  • Priority Lists of styles for production
  • Inclusive of Parks Exclusives, Licensed styles and Custom Engraving

Pre Season and In Season - Category / Collection / GBU Sales & Inventory

  • Disney Sell in to Sell out Plans for top down catgeory / collection plans per season to ensure sell tagrets are in line with financials
  • Disney Parks – SIS & O&O, Cruise Lines, and Shop Disney

Owner of Inventory Optimization & variances to Targets

  • Ensure inventory needs are planned pre season and in season
  • Disney Wholesale store stock to sales targets
  • Build inventories according to budgets and forecasts
  • Proactively partner with Demand Plan and escalate any risks

DV level forecasting

  • Expert on Park Exclusives, New Cycles, Engraved Designs, Licensed goods
  • Item creation
  • New Dealer Worksheet process
  • Disney Style maintenance with Data Maintenance

Something About You:

  • 3+ years’ experience in merchandise allocator or merchant planner with vertical retailing and omni experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in Visual Merchandising, and store planning experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in global retail, fashion, lifestyle or FMCG industry
  • Experience in Adobe Suite focused on InDesign and Illustrator, as well as photoshop
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of creative principles: color, balance and composition
  • Strong business acumen and relentlessly commercial
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large sets of data, present results in a simple manner and make data driven decisions
  • Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities.
  • Able to perform under pressure, organize and prioritize workload to meet deadline.
  • Escalates issues proactively
  • Strong knowledge of visual merchandising principles
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
