Our Marketing department is responsible for translating and delivering the International brand guidelines to the US Market. We are looking for a Visual Merchandising Coordinator to join our dynamic team!

The Visual Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for assisting with logistical planning, coordination, and execution of brand initiatives to support and develop Sales, Brand, and Marketing. This is a field position where most of the time will be spent providing visual merchandising service and training to points of sale including ECPs and retail stores following established guidelines. Approximately 75% of the time will be spent in the field. This includes oversight and implementation of all merchandising strategies ensuring that such implementation is consistent with the company goals and image while maximizing revenue and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports Sr. Visual Merchandising manager with all aspects of Visual Merchandising
  • Assist with visuals and graphic displays for Visual Merchandising and special event needs
  • Provide photographic expertise for company events and internal needs – Delete since Jayne does this and will keep it
  • Protect and enforce visual needs of the brand with primary focus on visual merchandising, as well as all marketing collateral
  • Follow templates in accordance with brand guidelines to ensure consistent visual identity system — in compliance with international brand guidelines — across all departments and channels of communication (e.g., aesthetic of Sales Meeting Materials, Release Materials, Portal, EyePin messages, Etc.)
  • Provides guidance and support to the field to ensure all available digital and POS assets are within copyright
  • Utilize graphic design, illustration, photography, and videography expertise to develop creative solutions within established brand guidelines
  • Assists with daily marketing operational procedures and provides back-up to Marketing Team as required (Stock Transfer Requests, Purchase Orders, Inventory look-up, etc.)
  • Interior & Window Guidelines
  • Assist with directive shoots
  • Obtain needed product samples and coordinate timing for each shoot
  • Photograph each shot
  • Return product when necessary
  • Serve as backup to update guidelines
  • Complete layout
  • Photoshop and/or render all images
  • Layout directive per corporate template.
  • Post directive and send communication once it has been written/approved
  • Be the eyes and ears in the field to ensure location, fixtures, signage, and imagery are brand appropriate and report back to senior manager
  • Prepare and communicate Store Visit Recaps including photos, point of sale/display opportunities & improvements, what’s working, what’s not working and product assortments
  • Create, organize, and maintain library of account photos
  • Assist with seasonal updates to the product room in the Green Island office
  • Assist with prep and merchandising of events, NYC Gallery set-ups and trade shows
  • Track props and pos materials to ensure arrival and implementation in accounts
  • Build good rapport with key cross-functional partners
  • One-off guidelines and projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

·Education:

o College Degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or related field preferred

·Experience:

o Minimum 1 year of experience in Visual Merchandising or recent grad with a Visual/Fashion Merchandising background and , creative project coordination experience

  • Customer service
  • Print and digital asset production
  • Photography/videography experience preferred

Computer Skills

·

· Microsoft Office - Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

· Adobe Creative Suite with a primary focus on InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere and AcrobatProject Management Software

· HTML in Windows and OS X environments

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and take direction
  • Comfortable speaking to small and large groups of people

· Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills

  • Strong fashion sense, knowledge of trends, dynamic, adaptable, hands on, and hardworking

Physical Demands

  • Individual will need to sit and stand as necessary
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Must be available for International and Domestic travel as requested
