The Manager, Visual Merchandising is responsible for supporting stores within the region to develop innovative and creative solutions that drive sales and support divisional strategies. Accountable for managing all VM store training, communication and best practice processes designed to drive brand consistency and excellence.

What You’ll Do:


  • Facilitate both instructor-led and virtual classroom/webinar sessions.
  • Manage compliance training deployment, inclusive of managing the cross-functional partnerships, and managing the schedule.
  • Support the development and rollout of all Global VM training tools and programs to support employee growth and increase employee engagement.
  • Identify talent, assess abilities, communicate expectations, implement processes, measure execution, and provide feedback.
  • Analyze and select technologies to effectively support engaging delivery for synchronous and asynchronous learning.


  • Conduct store visits in person or virtually to ensure stores comply with MK standards.
  • Develop strong partnerships with Field Leadership and Corporate Office to identify both short term (Montly) and long term (Quarterly) store sales opportunities. Formulate VM Action Plans in order to support shared goals.
  • Support with the execution of VM instore projects, initiatives, and provide feedback to cross-functional partners.


  • Uphold photo compliance to ensure stores are consistent with MK Visual Standards.
  • Lead all aspects of the planning and execution of VM initiatives at Rockefeller Center Flagship Store and Woodbury Commons Outlet Store.
  • Conduct regular joint visits with the Retail District Managers in order to identify key VM / Product opportunities in store.
  • Manage floor plans in partnership with Store Design, ensuring all floor plans are accurate and available for store teams.
  • Support the setup during each seasonal market for the division in partnership with Merchandising Team.
  • Support stores with monthly sales floor mapping for the implementation of new VM guidelines.


  • Positively communicate and actively demonstrate the Brand Values and MK Mission.
  • Provide leadership and direction to stores to ensure they are complient with all Global Visual Merchandising initiatives and everyday standards.
  • Leverage multiple communication vehicles (conference calls, webinars, coaching conversations) to ensure that store teams understand visual direction.
  • Ability to link both VM Corporate and Field Leadership Teams to ensure all Visual Communications content fits the needs of our stores and any future improvements can be captured.
  • Aware of all intranet communication, current advertising, promotions, and other marketing initiatives, and providing the appropriate way to communicate to all relevant parties.
  • Submit creative monthly Comp Shop Presentations to drive future innovation concepts in the field.


  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Minimum 3-5 years Visual Merchandising experience
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) preferred, but not required
  • Strong photography skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable to lift 50lbs
  • Valid driver’s liscense
  • Ability to travel 50-80% of the time and manage a flexible schedule based on business needs
  • Receipt of the COVID-19 vaccine is a requirement for this position, subject to applicable exemptions.


  • Strong visual merchandising skills and ability to drive business through creativity.
  • Understanding of how to interpret visual guidelines in-store or on site.
  • Ability to think and work strategically; able to plan ahead and foresee opportunities.
  • Resourceful, creative and solution-oriented.
  • Detailed oriented while able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Understanding of how effective visual strategies and standards drive the overall customer experience
