Summary

The Visual Merchandising Specialist II will be responsible for coordinating and executing merchandising efforts in the assigned market, visiting stores that are within Carhartt's Wholesale Division. This position will contribute to the development of new processes and programs for the visual merchandising department.There are2 openings for this role, and the candidates must reside in either Portland, OR area or Charlotte, NC area.

Responsibilities

  • Visiting Carhartt Wholesale accounts that have a designated selling space/shop within the store and provide Carhartt visual merchandising training to store management/associates.
  • Build and develop partnerships with Wholesale account buyers and Wholesale account store managers/associates, working to identify opportunities to enhance Carhartt brand presentation, improve productivity, and maximize sales.
  • Manage and execute the Carhartt shop installation process within the Wholesale account’s stores.
  • Initiate and maintain open communication with all cross-functional partners; i.e. marketing, sales, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Brand Managers and Sales team to identify opportunities for visual merchandising support to include: store evaluation, resetting the selling space, seasonal floor sets, signs and marketing elements, and training.
  • Contribute to the development of new, best in class processes and programs executed by visual merchandising department.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required in Marketing or Related Field

Required Skills And Experience

  • 4 years of visual merchandising experience with an emphasis in a multi-retailer/manufacturer environment.
  • Softline/apparel experience preferred.
  • Retail floor planning experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand retail plan-o-grams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with all levels including management.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail.
