The Visual Presentation and Merchandise Execution Manager, Stores, is a dynamic and seasoned leader tasked with guiding our nationwide merchandise and visual presentation strategy. This role involves overseeing the training and implementation of central directives concerning merchandise layout, product placement, and visual aesthetics across all retail locations, reporting to the AVP of Store Design, Merchandise, and Visual Presentation. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of retail merchandising principles, exceptional leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Primary Job Functions

  • Collaborate with senior management to establish clear directives and guidelines for merchandise layout, product placement, and visual displays.
  • Serve as a resource to the National Manager, Stores Merchandising, developing and implementing comprehensive store merchandise and visual directives that align with the company's brand identity and objectives.
  • Partner with District Managers and Store Directors to provide guidance, support, and training, ensuring consistent execution of central directives.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess compliance with merchandise and visual presentation standards, offering feedback and guidance as needed.
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and industry trends to continually refine and improve merchandise and visual presentation strategies.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of visual merchandising materials, including signage, displays, and promotional materials.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and creativity, encouraging store teams to generate new ideas and approaches to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and store management, to ensure alignment and consistency in brand messaging and presentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail merchandising or visual presentation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing effective merchandise and visual presentation strategies across multiple retail locations.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data and industry trends to make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to retail locations nationwide.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $90,000 and $100,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits), dependent on the position offered.
