JOB PURPOSE

Working as part of a dedicated team you will assist in the Warehousing and Despatching of the Burberry iconic range of outerwear. A Burberry warehouse operative must be able to work to the highest quality whilst achieving daily targets and ensuring continuous throughput.

This role is based in our Castleford Mill and is required to work on a shift pattern (Monday - Thursday from 7AM to 4PM and Friday from 7AM to 12PM).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Despatch quantity of garments as set by production performance standards
Be adaptable and have the ability to recognise and package according to product destination
Achieve team performance targets set by the team leader to contribute to output
Demonstrate flexible approach to meet production demands
Demonstrate a good understanding of different system requirements for trim, fabric and despatch
Continually seek to find opportunities to support operational excellence by learning from mistakes
Participate in continuous improvement including daily team briefings

PERSONAL PROFILE

Textile background and knowledge of garment construction
Previous manufacturing experience in a role that required maintenance of high quality standards
Ability to follow instructions
Precision and accuracy
Attention to detail
