<h2>Job description</h2>Reports To: Head of Merchandising, KoreaLocation: KoreaTHE GIGThis role will manage AMP/ Wholesales/Ecommerce Channels’ merchandising activities and planning for Korea. Keys to this role are understanding the global product strategy, consumers/retail end in mind and interpreting market trends. You get the Dr. Martens brand and are dedicated to providing best-in-class product and merchandising support to Korea territory. A passion for footwear, a keen eye for detail and experience in managing OTB and inventory is vital for this role.THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART• Collaborated with Head of Merchandising to define Korea product strategy and tactics related to market penetration, segmentation, distribution, assortment planning, pricing and margin planso Carryover and Seasonal line planning, assortment planning, Pricingo Develop and maintain monthly OTB, Purchasing and Demand Planningo Recommend and execute tier strategy• Maintain a close understanding of the Korea market (AMP, Wholesale &amp; Ecom), including performance of Dr. Martens distribution channels, category performance, consumer/market trend analysis and competitor activity• Collaborated with Head of Merchandising to establish long-term strategies and annual/seasonal financial plans and identify growth opportunities, with particular reference to the successful development and expansion of the Korea marketo Weekly/Monthly/Seasonal sell-thru report and product recapping to chase opportunities and inform season strategy / product development and partner’s with teams to executeo Analyse market hind-sighting for continuous improvement• Understand product trends, historical data and departmental input at by channel and at category level in order to manage in-season opportunities or riskso Provide Product Roadmap, Icons and Franchise management plans to build sustainable commercial growtho Leads cross-functional team members to develop seasonal/monthly category/collections strategies and store assortments to ensure that the collection is commercially viable and provides an exciting online &amp; offline consumer experienceo Co-ordinates with ECOM, sales &amp; retail operation, marketing… cross functions to determine the Distribution, Merchandising, Pricing and Mark-down strategy for brand collaborations.o Serves as liaison with Marketing and Ecommerce to develop seasonal distributor Visual Merchandising strategies• Building up a strong relationship, especially with AMP accounts, to establish Dr.Martens as a true cultural icon in the marketplace.• Develop product training materials to support AMP, Wholesale &amp; Ecom businessesYOUR FUNDAMENTAL QUALITIESIt’s never just a job at Dr. Martens.
