Accessories Designer (Kids)

Our client is an industry leading accessories company.

Accessories Designer Responsibilities:

• Working collaboratively with designers to develop innovative and trend-setting accessory designs for women, teens, tweens and young adults.
• Communicating with overseas development office and production teams.
• Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to execute designs.
• Participating in and keeping up to date with market & trend research and brainstorming for new product concepts.
• Developing cads, tech packs, line sheets & color stories for products in our various seasons.
• Developing new and exciting pattern designs and colorways.
• Creating detailed technical drawings, specifications and prototypes to guide the production process.
• Conduct regular quality control checks on samples and finished products to ensure they meet design specifications.

Accessories Designer Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in design or related field.
• Must have experience in designing accessories for young girls
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop & Illustrator
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Graphic design experience
• Knowledge of materials, textiles and manufacturing processes.
