Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Apparel Designer located in the New York City Metropolitan area. The Apparel Designer will be responsible for producing innovative designs, creating tech packs, developing fabrics and prints, sourcing trims, and creating production-ready designs. This is an exciting opportunity to work on all product categories (wovens, cut & sew, bottoms, and outerwear).
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience
- Ability to stay up to date with the marketplace and translate trends into highly saleable designs
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, and ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in fashion design or related field preferred
- Experience in textile development, and sustainable design are a plus
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Excel
