Position Overview:

The Apparel Graphics Design Assistant supports the design team in creating compelling graphics for various clothing items and accessories. This role involves collaborating closely with senior designers to bring visual concepts to life while ensuring all designs align with brand guidelines and market trends. The position demands a blend of creative and technical skills, requiring the assistant to handle both design creation and the preparation of digital files for production.

You will:

Assist in the creation and execution of graphic designs for apparel, focusing on aesthetics, color, and composition.
Work closely with the design team to refine designs and convert ideas into final products.
Support the team in all phases of the design process.
Prepare and adjust digital files ensuring they are production-ready and meet all technical requirements.
Coordinate with production teams to oversee the manufacturing process and ensure the final product matches the design specifications.
Manage administrative tasks for the design team including scheduling, preparing presentations, and maintaining project timelines.
Actively participate in brainstorming and design review sessions, providing creative and practical input.
Conduct research on latest fashion trends and maintain knowledge of competitor activities and industry standards.

What you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong creative and visual skills with an eye for detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
A portfolio demonstrating graphic design skills, particularly in apparel.
