We are seeking a dynamic and driven Associate Buyer to join our client’s procurement team. As an Associates Buyer, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing products essential to their agricultural retail operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about agriculture and eager to launch their career in procurement within the industry. This is a direct hire opportunity. Meaning, the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities:

Monitor sales and margins
Evaluate new product lines/vendors
Research new products offered
Compare inventory
Review promotional offers
Negotiate for quality products and pricing
Address concerns with products
Analyze previously advertised items
Determine pricing needs
Follow up with effectiveness of ad promotions

Qualifications:

Bachelors or 2 years degree preferred
1+ years retailing buying experience preferred
Must be detail oriented
Strong verbal and written communication
Strong analytical background
