About The Role

Nili Lotan is seeking a Women's Designer to lead the Women's Woven collection from concept to production. You'll collaborate with the CEO/Designer, manage the design process, and ensure everything aligns with the company's vision and budget.

Responsibilities

Create seasonal design boards compiling inspiration images
Collaborate on concepting trends, color stories, fabric, prints
Source vintage references
Sketch technical flats and updating as needed for visual assets, sketch recaps
Conduct development and production fittings, ensuring design integrity throughout process
Manage design and development calendar of women's woven collection to achieve seasonal deliverables
Partner cross-departmentally with Technical Design, Production, and Sales to achieve company-wide objectives
Reports to CEO/Designer and EVP of Production and Product Development

Qualifications

Deep design and technical knowledge of wovens, PFD garments, denim, leather, and embroidery.
Collaborative approach to design and strategy.
Dedication to research of market trends and technologies to keep design innovation moving forward.
Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud.
Experience working in RLM, or similar PLM system.
Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment and work both independently and as part of a team.

About Us

Nili Lotan is an Israeli-born and New York-based fashion designer. After graduating from the prestigious Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Tel Aviv, Nili moved to NYC in 1980 to pursue a career in fashion design, where she enjoyed a very successful career leading design teams at top American fashion houses including Ralph Lauren, Liz Claiborne, and Nautica.

Nili launched her own namesake label in 2003, designing a wardrobe of luxurious, chic, and timeless pieces for today's woman, that has since expanded to include jeans, belts and handbags as well as limited-edition collaborations. Nili Lotan has several retail stores in the United States and the collection can be found at upscale retailers throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia.
