We are currently seeking a Digital Merchandiser who will maintain and optimize our branded websites through analysis, development, and execution of trading plans. The role will coordinate stakeholder activity to ensure activity launches on time, and in full. The Digital Merchandiser will make recommendations to drive improvements in D2C metrics, including Visitors, Conversion, and Revenue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the full life cycle of products launched on the site; including product setup, site roadmap/storytelling strategy that align with key category plans, sequencing, cross-sells, navigation & site accuracy.
  • Analyze on-site metrics and consumer behaviors to make recommendations aimed at enhancing website performance.
  • Develop and coordinate the execution of annual activity calendars in collaboration with Brand Team inputs and IT resources, ensuring timely on-site launch of content, promotions, and new products.
  • Conduct off-site research and benchmarking of websites, using the findings to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Periodic reporting of site metrics, including promotions, visits, revenue, and conversion and site enhancement programs.
  • Set targets for upcoming activity launches and conduct post-activity analysis.
  • Maintain systems and data with a high level of accuracy.
  • Stay current with e-commerce trends and industry competitors to gain insights into best practices and emerging opportunities.
  • Verify purchase journey is correctly merchandised and linked, ensuring banners and links render related product pages and categories.
  • Maintain a well-defined shared timeline for product launches, helping digital marketing channels align with on-site content and campaigns.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

Experience, Knowledge & Education

  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ proven working experience in website merchandising, e-commerce, or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience of an e-Commerce platform.
  • Experience building product merchandising strategies.
  • Familiarity with web-based analytical tools, such as Google Analytics, Magento, etc.
  • Knowledge of web metrics and optimization strategies.
  • Understanding of online marketing tactics.
  • Buying, and/or site merchandising experience in apparel is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, fashion merchandising, retail management, or related field.
  • Coursework in digital marketing, ecommerce, and consumer behavior a plus.

Other

  • This is an exempt, full-time position, requiring employees to be on-site five (5) days a week at our Solana Beach, CA office.
  • Ability to work extended hours as business needs warrant. May on occasion include nights and/or weekends.
  • Travel (domestic) possible; as business needs warrant.
  • California Pay Transparency Act, the range for this role is between $66,000 and $70,500. Target compensation range and subsequent actual salary will be determined by a number of factors including but not limited to: specific skills, competencies, years of experience, geographic location and education as aligned to the job description.
