Fashion Designer with 3D Visualization & Manufacturing Skills

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and innovative Fashion Designer who is proficient in using CLO 3D software to bring fashion concepts to life through realistic 3D visualizations.

This role is perfect for someone who can not only visualize but also physically produce high-quality fashion items, enabling us to both showcase our concepts online and sell a very limited quantity of the real product.

Responsibilities:

3D Visualization:

Utilize CLO 3D software to create accurate and realistic 3D models of fashion concepts, providing a virtual representation of how the designs would look in real life.

Design to Production:

Translate 3D visualizations into technical specifications and patterns for manufacturing, ensuring that the designs are feasible for production.

Sample Creation:

Produce high-quality samples based on the 3D designs, working closely with fabric suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that the final product matches the initial concept as closely as possible.

Limited Production Management:

Oversee the production of a very limited quantity of each design, ensuring quality control and timely delivery for potential sales.

Feedback Incorporation:

Work collaboratively with the creative director (me) to refine designs based on feedback, ensuring that the final products align with the original vision.

Project Management:

Manage timelines and coordinate between different stakeholders, including suppliers and manufacturers, to ensure that the project milestones are met.

Requirements:

Proficiency in CLO 3D software or similar tools for creating realistic fashion designs and visualizations.Strong understanding of garment construction and textile properties to accurately bring designs to life.

Experience in managing the entire lifecycle of a product from concept through to final production, including fabric selection, pattern making, and sample production.

Experience in small batch production, with a focus on quality control and meeting design specifications.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate between different teams and manage timelines effectively.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to work closely with the creative director to ensure the vision is accurately brought to life.

A portfolio showcasing previous work with 3D fashion design visualization and successful translation of those designs into physical products.

Nice-to-Haves:

Background in fashion design or a related field, with a strong understanding of current fashion trends and market demands.

Previous experience working with sustainable materials and eco-friendly production processes.

A network of fabric suppliers and small-scale manufacturers.
