Fashion Designer with technical focus - Contract to Hire

We're excited to announce an opportunity to join our dynamic team! Initially starting on a project basis, this role offers the potential for long-term, full-time integration into our expanding digital pattern company. We're on the lookout for an individual who can spearhead our product development division.

Responsibilities will include:

- Proficient pattern drafting and grading.

- Attending to technical intricacies of each pattern, such as fabric consumption, materials, and instructions.

- Utilizing Adobe Illustrator to craft detailed 2D sketches of patterns, ideally accompanied by step-by-step instructional illustrations.

- Providing exceptional customer support for pattern-related inquiries.

- Ensuring product maintenance within our online shop.

- A bonus: Contributing engaging blog articles complete with images, focusing on beginner-friendly sewing topics (e.g., "How to sew a zipper, step-by-step").

We seek a self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously, delivering outstanding results without constant supervision. Our ambition is to propel this project to new heights, and we're seeking individuals who share our passion and dedication. A background in Fashion Design is essential, and we kindly request applicants to include a portfolio showcasing their pattern designs, fashion projects, and sewing experiences. If you have a sewing related Instagram/Tiktok we would be happy to have a look as well!

Necessary tools for this role include a sewing machine, a decent camera for content creation, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator. Strong English skills are imperative, both in comprehension and written communication.
