Lead Fashion Designer for Streetwear Collection
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Lead Fashion Designer to create the first line of our streetwear collection. The ideal candidate will be a visionary in the urban fashion space, with a strong understanding of streetwear trends, materials, and construction. Your role will be crucial in establishing the brand's identity and setting the foundation for future collections.
Key Responsibilities:
•Conceptualize and design an innovative and cohesive streetwear collection that reflects the brand's values and identity.
• Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape, identify trends, and predict future styles in the streetwear industry.
• Create technical sketches, flat drawings, and technical specifications for each design.
• Source high-quality materials and trims while considering sustainability and ethical production practices.
• Collaborate with the product development team to create prototypes and refine designs based on feedback and testing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers.
• Ensure that the production process meets the brand's quality standards and follows established timelines.
• Supervise and guide a team of designers to achieve the brand's vision and objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a fashion designer, preferably in the streetwear industry.
3. Strong knowledge of fashion design principles, techniques, and materials.
4. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
5. Experience in tech pack creation and garment construction.
6. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
7. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
8. A passion for streetwear and urban fashion trends.
