Looking for a Textile Designer for Baby Product Development

We are seeking an experienced textile designer with a sharp eye for stylish baby product designs. We have initial prototypes and sewing patterns ready for four products, but they require further refinement in appearance. Most products have selected fabric types, but factories have not yet been identified, and a couple of products need fabric materials to be redesigned.

Scope of the Work:

- Refine the appearance of the initial 4 prototypes to meet our aesthetic and functional standards.

- Assist in the redesign of fabric materials for selected products.

- Help source suitable fabric types and factories.

Timeline:

We aim to finalize the 4 product design and prototypes within the next 2 months, as our product launch is scheduled for September 2024.

Working Relationship:

We seek someone who can collaborate closely with our team but also has the freedom to work independently part of the time.

Future Opportunities:

There is potential for more product design work in the future if this project goes well.

Challenges:

Finding the best fabrics for our products and stylish finishing can be challenging. Your expertise in selecting soft, non-toxic, and safe materials for babies’ sensitive skin will be crucial.

Required Experience:

Extensive experience in textile design, particularly in children's products.

A proven track record of elegant and practical design solutions.

Knowledge and experience in handling materials suitable for baby products.
