Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchandise Allocation: Handle the allocation of merchandise to Effy boutiques. Utilize sales forecasts, inventory levels, and store-specific data to determine optimal merchandise allocations for each location.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with Inventory Planning and Buying teams to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of merchandise. Monitor inventory turnover rates and adjust allocation strategies as needed to optimize stock levels.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports related to sales performance, inventory levels, and store-specific metrics. Use data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and make recommendations for allocation strategies and inventory management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Inventory Planning, Buying, Store Operations, and Distribution, to ensure alignment of merchandise allocation strategies with overall business objectives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address allocation issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve allocation processes. Implement best practices, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in merchandise allocation and inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field preferred.
  • 2. 3+ years of experience in merchandise planning, allocation, or retail operations, preferably in the jewelry or fashion industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools. Experience with retail planning and allocation software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
