Job Summary The Packaging Production Artist for House Brands will provide support and be responsible for all aspects of supplement/bath & beauty label production, ensuring that the creative concepts are executed to brand standards. Prepare content, images, color, and layouts to route for approval. Implement all edits, create files for release, and approve printer proofs.

This role is more technical and less creative.

Job Expectations

Collaborate closely with our in-house product development team
Prepare final, press-ready files based on supplied specifications
Ability to prepare projects for print is essential
Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production
Create PDFs for in-house product development team and client/vendor review
Maintain production files, including fonts, images, logos and other artwork
Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time
Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative team, vendor, and printer
Ability to build strong, technically tight, problem-free mechanicals
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn existing and new workflows
Strong project management skills, organizational skills and time-management skills

Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience with layout of dietary supplement labels (nutrition/supplement facts), food packaging, etc., a strong plus
Experience with layout/packaging of Bath & Beauty products is a plus.
Proficient knowledge of prepress and printing standards
Ability to communicate written and verbally in a professional manner with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts
Able to work in a fast pace environment
Detail-oriented and an organized, team-player
A high degree of accuracy and precision with the quality of the work product
Excellent organization skills

Equipment Knowledge

Must be highly proficient in industry standard design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other applicable programs on Macintosh platform.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
Asana "work management" platform a plus

Experience Requirements

Generally requires a minimum of 3-5 years of design experience in Adobe Creative Suite.

Education Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
