Job Title: Freelance Apparel Print Designer

Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Print Designer to join our RTW Design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for print and pattern design, a keen eye for detail. The Freelance Apparel Print Designer will work closely with the Sr. Designer to develop a wide range of print designs, ensuring they align with our brand guidelines and meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

Modify, clean, manipulate, and create repeats for vendor sourced or originally created prints and patterns.
Create original artworks that reflect the Retrofete aesthetic.
Responsible for creating artworks and repeats.
Assist as needed in creating CADs.
Assist and collaborate on seasonal placement print.
Stay up to date with any changes in seasonal print flow.
Research and stay up to date with current trends in print & pattern.
Responsible for print production.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in print & pattern design
Bachelor's degree in Fashion design, Textile design
Proven experience as a print designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of print projects.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
Knowledge of print production processes and techniques.
Excellent hand sketching and CAD skills.
Strong understanding of brand aesthetic and strong sense of color, scale, and balance.
Strong ability to create original designs.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
Understanding of garment construction and detail
