TOTEME is a Swedish fashion house founded in 2014 by Elin Kling and Karl Lindman. From the studio in Stockholm, the label explores the appeal of a modern uniform through distinct design cues, meticulous craftsmanship and methodic repetition. The Role

TOTEME is looking for a Product Developer to join our team in Stockholm full-time. In this role you will be responsible for developing products from sketch handover to pre-production sample (PPS) sign-off for our apparel collection. You will report to the Head of Product Development and will work directly with Designers, Pattern Cutters, the Head of Technical, Production Manager, Raw Material Development Manager, and Collection Manager.

Responsibilities

Order and deliver high-quality prototypes, salesman samples (SMS) and PPS on time and within a target margin.
Meet deadlines and communicate key milestones to cross-functional teams.
Ensure that developed products are fit for purpose for the customer, brand and business.
Build and maintain a close working relationship with the Design team – act as a technical partner for the Design Director and team, attending fittings and reviews and providing proactive input to ensure the best quality and fit.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with all manufacturers – negotiate costs, lead times and technical aspects to ensure the design vision is maintained.
Identify and make recommendations on risks/challenges at all production stages, with a focus on quality, price and margin.
Enter data into our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system accurately throughout the development process.
Deliver products in line with TOTEME’s sustainability standards and values, making sure that relevant product data is always accessible and updated for the Sustainability team.

Your Profile

Able to work with Senior Designers, understanding and interpreting their creative aesthetic and design vision, and translating this to teams and vendors.
Skilled in managing supplier relationships to meet demands efficiently.
Experienced with managing the critical path, ensuring collections are delivered on time.
Able to manage a budget with commercial awareness and understanding of product cost, achieving a balance between creativity and commercial implications throughout the process.
Demonstrated expert technical product knowledge.
Knowledge of Office and Adobe programs and PLM systems.
Fluent in spoken and written English.

This is a full-time position based at TOTEME's headquarters in Stockholm to start as soon as possible.
