Core Responsibilities:

Daily plotting of patterns and markers per priority list given by DTC production manager
Assist creative and production pattern cutters with plotting where required
Cut, mark and pack all plotted patterns used for production or sampling clearly per company standards.
Digitise patterns using Gerber digitiser when required, ensuring all required markings and annotations are transferred correctly into the digital pattern.
Take ownership of the plotter, ensuring this is always running as best as possible.
Change plotter paper when needed, and inform pattern cutters of new plotting width, so new markers for plotting can be adjusted accordingly.
Manage plotting paper stock ensuring paper is always in stock on time.
Assist with pattern conversion from other CAD softwares into Gerber per request from production pattern cutters, and record time to convert per style.
Assist with simple grading tasks, measurement chart fulfilment, mockups and other pattern cutting tasks per allocation and timeline given by the Production pattern cutters
When working in Gerber make sure company pattern policy is always followed in regards to quality, naming and organisation.
Make self-covered buttons as per request from the stock manager or DTC production coordinator.
Assist with making markers as per request from production pattern cutters and pre production manager.
Assist machinists with answering questions where possible.
Suggest improvements to DTC production manager if any are spotted and have a proactive approach to the work.
Assist with ad hoc tasks as required, such as but not limited to, packing/unpacking samples for photoshoots, finding samples in stock, organising materials and finished goods stock, updating style and BoM information in the PLM software.

Requirements:

Good understanding of Gerber
Experience with digitising
Entry level understanding of garment construction and pattern cutting
Entry level understanding of production
Highly organised and great attention to detail
