Senior Apparel Designer (Women's Design - Graphic & Non Graphic + Knits)

We are looking for a Senior Apparel Designer for a well-known lifestyle fashion client in San Francisco.

What You'll Do:

-Collaborate with Women’s Tops Director in developing seasonal concepts for Women’s Knits, including non-graphic tees and sweatshirts, and graphic tee and sweatshirt silhouettes.

-Create and develop seasonal color and print stories for Women’s Knit Tops in collaboration with the Director.

-Develop on-brand, trend-right products that drive equity and profitability for the brand and uphold their aesthetic standards.

-Continuously research and monitor the consumer and marketplace to identify opportunities to stay ahead of the competition.

-Manage two direct reports

-Sustain effective partnerships with Merchandising, Product Development, and Sourcing to ensure products are engineered to profit and quality/aesthetic goals.

-Manage team creation and execution of PLM BOM data integrity: protos, commercial samples, and production.

Your Experience :

-8+ years' experience as a designer, responsible for all facets of design and development

-Expertise in textiles and product development; strong working knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, fabric construction, fabric finishing techniques, and processes

-Proficient on all design platforms – Adobe CC and PLM program

-MS Office proficiency, Word, Excel, and Outlook

-Ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast-paced environment

-Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $55-57 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
