POSITION TITLE: Senior Coordinator- Aerie Visual

REPORTS TO: Senior Manager- Aerie Visual

GRADE: 5

Purpose

With a sense of ownership, coordinate/assist with the Visual Merchandising floorset process of an assigned division/format in the Aerie business. Develop consistent industry-leading, innovative, brand-right visual merchandising and marketing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively partner with supervisor in development and execution of seasonal floorsets and assigned merchandising updates as needed within an assigned division/format.
  • Coordinate seasonal floorset builds with the partnership of the Lab Management team, using the laydown as a foundation.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and partner with the merchants to ensure teams are updated on seasonal assortment changes.
  • Lead select seasonal floorset walkthroughs with executive leadership teams and corporate business partners.
  • Proactively solve all format and store group deviations within the floorset.
  • Partner with the visual production team to photograph, document, and edit all floorset documents and in-season communication for stores.
  • Review all visual merchandising and marketing documents and communication for all accuracy.
  • Proactively partner with cross-functional business partners and the visual production team to develop/drive weekly communication, seasonal adjustments, and seasonal testing communication for stores.
  • Coordinate/Create virtual laydown & mapping documentation as needed.
  • Partner with store operations to create select timelines for store visual communication/timelines.
  • Train/develop lab store management and full-time associate support team.
  • Address problems in a timely, objective, and impartial manner.
  • Coordinate/Implement special projects as assigned.
  • Travel as needed to the New York Design Office, store visits, ect. as needed.
Qualifications
  • 3-4 years in retail apparel management or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Design, or related business field preferred
  • Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign and Google Office (Drive, Docs, Sheets & Slides)
  • Confident, articulate and professional speaking abilities
  • Collaborative mindset, with ability to work well independently or within a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail
  • Strong prioritization, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled at identifying opportunities for new processes & efficiencies
  • Daily onsite work required; This is a non-remote position
