Pair Eyewear is seeking a seasoned Senior Designer to join our creative marketing team, reporting into the Art Director, Marketing to help transform our marketing collateral into world-class creative. They will play a pivotal role in refining the visual language of our design systems, and being hands on in developing the creative team. This individual will be responsible for the development of design systems & templates, campaign style guides, owning large scale marketing campaigns, as well as helping to manage a team of junior designers.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with our Art Director to execute on their vision of the brand on all marketing collateral.
  • Manage a team of junior designers to ensure their work adheres to brand standards, perfecting the typography and designs of your team before delivering to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the copywriter and photographer to ensure the creative is on brand and up to brand standards.
  • Owning recurring 1:1 with their team for continuous feedback and development.
  • Develop and execute compelling design concepts for a range of marketing materials, including digital campaigns, social media, print media, and website design.
  • Stay abreast of current design trends and technologies, continually bringing fresh ideas to the table.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative-strategy meetings, contributing creative insights and solutions.
Who You Are:
  • An expert designer with a mastery of typography, design principles, and photo manipulation.
  • A highly collaborative team player who has experience working in a creative team setting.
  • Effective Communicator with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Designer with experience managing other creatives.
  • Have developed or worked on brand style guides.
  • You have a refined level of aesthetic and taste.
  • An effective and organized designer, who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • A curious, self motivated learner with a genuine interest in branding, design, and art direction.
Need to Have:
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a breadth of completed professional marketing campaigns and strong graphic design skills.
  • 5-6+ years of experiences working at a creative agency or in-house creative team.
  • A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related fields.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), figma and an understanding of design software and technologies.
  • Proficient in creating mockups, photo manipulation, and color theory applications.
Nice to Have:
  • Previous experience working for an ecommerce or director-to-consumer brand.
  • Proficiency in motion graphics & video editing. (after effects, premiere, davinci).
  • Professional photo retouching capabilities.
  • 3D design capabilities. (blender or other similar).
  • Experience utilizing generative AI in your professional work.

At Pair, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The pay range for this position is expected to be between $104,000 - $120,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
