Golden Touch is a family owned and operated wholesale apparel manufacturer with a mission to deliver trend focused products for nearly 50 years. We produce private label brands for large mass market retailers across the globe specializing in children’s, junior, missy and women’s apparel, as well as branded and private label handbags, backpacks, luggage, and accessories.

Responsibilities

Manage the design process from concept through production

Build product lines for licensed and private label brands
Create fast and accurate, on-trend, handbag and other accessory CADS and design presentations, as well as designs using adobe Illustrator
Manage daily tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
Research and present brand right trends within vendor capabilities
Create technical packs for each product
Work closely with Lead Merchandiser and Sales team to ensure correct information is being relayed to overseas vendors, and take action on customer feedback
Collaborate with graphic design team on print and graphic direction
Keep organized notes to track ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
Troubleshoot sample issues and identify solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Apparel Design, Fashion Accessory Design or related program
Experience: 4+ Years of full-time professional design experience
Highly organized and methodical. Attention to detail is paramount.
Superior communication skills with team members, factories and vendors
Critical thinking and problem solving abilities
Natural curiosity and desire to learn
Strong working knowledge of handbag and accessory construction preferred

Salary range: $80K- $115K*

As a private company, Golden Touch may pay more or less than the published upper limit of the pay range based on an individual’s demonstrated experience and expertise in their field. The pay ranges serve as a target and allow us to consider relevant experience, time in the role, salaries of internal peers, business sector, prior performance, and geographic location.
