JOB SUMMARY

Come join us at Icon! We are currently seeking a Technical Luggage Designer to join our newly created Luggage Division.

Responsibilities

Lead the creative and technical development of ICON's Luggage line.

Work directly with overseas manufacturers to produce products on time and within budget.

Research seasonal trends, themes, color, raw materials and styling.

Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Production to achieve product execution and maintain design integrity.

Create drawings and tech packs for first prototypes, including measurements and construction details.

Develop and counter source fabric and trims with production and suppliers.

Overseas travel for design research and to supervise production.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience

Expert knowledge of luggage construction. Elevated taste level and creative ability. Knowledge of seasonal silhouette and color trends. Strong lustration/presentation and computer design expertise. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Detail oriented, good follow through Strong organizational, communication, written and presentation skills.
