Temp Freelance Tech Designer Athleisure/Active
Temporary Freelance Tech Designer needed for 2-3 weeks. Approximately 10-24 hours a week.
Need to be able to do fittings and provide comments to factory and also be able to help with development specs.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing the technical design process from development to final fit.
- Responsible for analyzing and evaluating garments to develop the correct fit specifications.
- Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities and cost specifications.
- Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections.
- Executes fittings on live models and communicate all changes to factories
- Makes appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure integrity of design approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.
Experience
- 5 years experience in technical design.
- Ability to measure, own fits, and make fit recommendations
We are looking for a talented Freelance Tech Designer who has experience with active, athleisure and cut & sew knits.
Please note that this is a freelance position, so compensation will be hourly.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
