Are you ready to set the standard for Premium apparel?

Main Purpose Of The Position

This is a full time role for a mid to senior level candidate who is meticulous with details and driven by the pattern making aspect of the design process. This pattern maker will partner with Design for the implementation and execution of the 3D fitting and pattern making process. This process will play a key role in improving overall fit and aesthetic of Proto samples, to increasing overall speed to market. The person in this role will bring with them drive and passion for developing technically sound garments with fabulous fit that cater to the body con LA woman. This position requires an out of the box thinker who can collaborate with the existing team, outside vendors and across all levels of the organization.

Position Responsibilities And Daily Tasks

Partner with design through hand off and 3D fitting process
Create and adjust first patterns in digital 3D software
Create a 3D rendering of pattern to review with design
Communicate with vendors to ensure desired fit and design intent is executed in 1st proto stage
Ensure all pattern revisions are completed within a timely manner to ensure deadlines are maintained
Manage at least one doc for internal communications

What does a candidate need to demonstrate to perform this job successfully:

Understanding of construction and patterns
High level of attention to detail
Ability to multi-task while staying organized
High sense of urgency, punctuality and timeliness
Must have a strong work ethic and motivation to learn
Works well individually, as well as, with a team

Minimum candidate qualifications (years of experience, education level, technical skills, software, etc):

Degree in apparel manufacturing, product development or apparel design related field
5+ years work experience as pattern maker
Proficient in digital pattern making programs: Gerber, Tukatech or similar
In depth knowledge of fabric, apparel, materials, construction and fit

Preferred qualifications (years of experience, education level, technical skills, software, etc):

Consistent work experience and steady career progression as a pattern maker
Work experience at premium and/or contemporary women’s fashion brands

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
