Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and skilled Textile Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic vision and the technical ability to create and replicate print designs for various types of apparel. This role involves both creative design and technical execution, including the preparation and use of apparel production files.

Responsibilities:

Design original textile patterns and prints aligned with current trends and our brand's aesthetic.

Skillfully replicate and adapt existing prints and patterns from various sources.

Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and develop cohesive collections.

Utilize industry-standard software to create and modify print designs.

Prepare and maintain accurate apparel production files, ensuring they meet technical specifications for manufacturing.

Communicate effectively with production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately.

Stay updated with new trends, techniques, and technologies in textile design and production.

Ensure all design activities adhere to company standards and timelines.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field.

Proven experience (3+ years) in textile design, particularly in print design for apparel.

Proficiency in textile design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent.

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of print designs and textile patterns.

Deep understanding of fabric properties, dyes, and production processes.

Excellent color sense and an eye for detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
