For over 12 years, City Home has curated a unique marketplace shopping experience across six stores, filled with inspiring home furnishings finds for the home decorator, designer and business owner.

What you’ll do:

-Under direction of the visual display Director you work as part of a talented team, whose main goal is to support the sales floor in maintaining and stocking store displays.

- Maximize sales growth and profitability by maintaining the stock room and facilitate the flow of product to provide an engaging customer experience.

-Assist with set up and maintenance of displays, ensuring they are clean, organized and visually appealing.

-Assist with unloading and processing stock Transfer trucks and pricing of merchandise to ready for sales floor.

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases.

-Maintain lighting throughout the store.

- Promote cohesive teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all team members.

- Create system stock transfers-maintain knowledge of computer system and programs relevant to the position.

Experience:

- Previous experience in visual merchandising or a related field is preferred

- Strong creative skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Knowledge of interior design principles is beneficial

* position requires ability to move and/or lift up to 65 pounds, standing, stooping, and bending, along with ability to use and work from up to 6 foot ladders.

*position requires ability to work at Portland and Lake Oswego stores as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
